Section Schedule DANC 130 Hip-Hop Studies Symposium This course serves as an incubation space for students interested in Hip-Hop Studies to build relationships and spark ideas for collaboration through critical thinking and dialogue. The course requires students to attend lectures, workshops, jams and seminars around Hip-Hop history, culture, ethics, and practice both on and off campus. Students and the instructor meet weekly to discuss critical topics raised through these events. Additionally, students are required to complete reading and writing assignments, and give creative presentations that foster the critical dialogue which is the central focus of this course.
